I will admit that when I was getting married, I had a horrible obsession with the weather channel. I was constantly checking the website. I needed to know whether it was going to rain on my wedding day! Like every bride I wanted a beautiful, clear and sunny day for my wedding. Every time I check the weather, it was supposed to rain on my wedding day! I think I must have said about 500 Holy Mary’s and made a million promises so that there was no rain on my big day! I lucked out because the rain held out and it didn’t rain till my reception. Most of my brides tell me that they are equally obsess with the weather.
I know all brides (and photographers) hope for a clear day for their wedding days. I wish I had a magic wand to give my brides a rain free day, filled with a beautiful sunset, however I have yet to find that wand. I can’t promise you that the weather would be good but what I can promise you is that I will give you pretty pictures rain or shine. If it rains on your wedding, then that’s part of your wedding day story, and I promise you that we will rock those pictures!
There are few things that we can do in case of bad weather. We always have the options of shooting indoors. Most venues that I have shot are beautifully decorated, so we will do our pictures there. We can also make a plan B, with alternative indoor locations in case of bad weather. If you are up for it and is not raining badly, we can always grab a pretty umbrella and show the rain who is boss!
Churches also always have beautiful arches and architecture so we will defiantly do some pictures here.
I want you to know that no matter if the weather is amazing or if is horrible, my ultimate goal and job is to give you pictures that you will love.
